How Ant Trail works
Ant Trail is a live map of the Solana wallets that actually make money on pump.fun and PumpSwap. Each such wallet is an ant. When an ant buys a coin it lays scent on that coin's trail. Scent fades on its own. When several strong ants buy the same coin, its trail gets thick; past a threshold it is hot and an alert is written. That is the whole idea: follow the trails, not the noise.

1. Who is an ant
Every candidate wallet is profiled over its last 7 days of real trades (realized profit, average cost basis). It gets in only if all of these hold:
- at least 8 closed positions and 3 coins closed in profit;
- realized profit of at least 2 SOL, and still at least 1 SOL without its single best trade;
- the best trade is at most 60% of the profit, win rate at least 45%;
- median hold of at least 60 s, at most 6 trades an hour, wallet older than 14 days;
- coins it created (or its funder created) do not count; bags with no sell for 48 h count as a loss.
Cut before profiling: bots (dense pages, instant round trips), block-0 snipers (bought in the create slot), devs (the creator), bundles (3+ buyers of one coin in one slot with a common funder). Wallets sharing one funder are one cluster: one cap, one vote.
2. Laying a trail
A buy lays scent = strength x SOL. Per cluster and coin at most 3 SOL is counted in 10 minutes, and one cluster can give at most 40% of the threshold. Scent halves every 180 seconds: tau(t) = tau0 x 2^(-(t - t0) / HALF_S). A sell removes the seller's share of the scent in proportion to what it sold.
Strength starts from the 7-day record (0.5 to 3). A closing sell in profit (food carried home) raises it by at most 15% of the ROI, a loss lowers it, bounded between 0.25 and 3. Once a day strength is blended with the fresh 7-day score; below 0.35 the ant leaves the nest.
3. Hot trails and alerts
A trail is hot at 6 or more scent with at least 3 independent clusters on it, the coin older than 120 s and its creator known. An alert re-arms only after the trail falls below half the threshold, at most once per 1800 s per coin, and at most 12 an hour in total.
4. Who sees what
Everyone: the live map, trail widths, tickers, coin pages, ant numbers (masked profiles) and the trail log 10 minutes late. Holders of the token (from $50): ant wallet addresses, full profiles and alerts the moment they fire. Login is one signed text message; no transaction, nothing leaves your wallet.
5. Trust points
- Read-only: the service holds no keys, sends no transactions, takes no fees and never touches creator fees.
- Data: public mainnet trades of pump.fun and PumpSwap, SOL pairs only.
- The site computes every trail in your browser with the same formula file the service runs.
- Ants are wallets that made money in the last 7 days. Past profit says nothing about the next trade. Not advice.
- Until the live index is warm the map plays a replay of recorded mainnet trades, labelled REPLAY on the map.
